SFX RECORDING

I honestly think recording your own sound effects makes you a better listener, a better editor & opens up your creativity.  Its never as easy as just pointing a microphone in the right direction, it takes a lot of practice & effort but its very satisfying recording a sound that is unique & just fits the picture - many of these things I could cut in from existing libraries but some time out of the studio in the fresh air is always a good thing too!
